How it works

FEDANT is pleased to welcome onto the National Register, Antenatal Educators, Doula Birth Companions, Breastfeeding Counsellors and Complementary Practitioners.

When you have filled in the online registration form and ticked the declaration box, you are given the opportunity to pay for your annual registration via cheque or secure payment gateway.

When this section has been completed you are asked to provide evidence in the form of copies of all the qualifications you wish to have listed on the National Register.  You also need to provide copies of current insurance covering you for these qualifications.  If you choose to take out FEDANT insurance then the paperwork for this should be sent directly to us, not the insurance company.  We validate you first before sending your forms to the insurance company.

You can choose to send your documentation to us in several ways, either by post, fax or email.  Please note that your annual registration starts from the date you filled in the registration form, therefore it is of benefit to get your documentation to us as soon as you can.

Once your documentation has been received it will be validated and once cleared you will be issued a FEDANT Certificate together with a Registration Card and your details will be added to the National Register.  You will be sent an email with your username and password, to enable you to access the registrant login area.

You will be kept up to date with the process of regulation of antenatal education.

Please do take a look at the FAQ's section of the website; you can also email us at info@FEDANT.org
