FEDANT accredited courses have been assessed through the applicable National Course Accreditation and Verification (NCAV), National Relative Sector Award (NRSA) or CPD accreditation process. Accreditation applies only to the exact course shown in this directory.

Accreditation Assurance

If your education provider and course appear on this list, you can be assured that the course has undergone FEDANT’s applicable accreditation process. The course structure, educational content, assessment arrangements and relevant safety requirements have been reviewed against FEDANT’s standards.

FEDANT accredited education providers appearing on FEDANT play an important role in preparing knowledgeable, safe and professionally responsible practitioners for the antenatal and postnatal sector. Their commitment to maintaining these standards supports graduates and parents.

Supporting Graduates into Professional Registration

As part of their accreditation, FEDANT accredited education providers are responsible for preparing eligible graduates for the next stage of their professional journey, supporting them as they move from qualification into professional registration and regulation. This includes clearly explaining how to apply separately for admission to the FEDANT National Register in the category supported by their accredited qualification. Membership of a provider’s own graduate community, association or professional network is separate from, and does not replace, personal admission to the FEDANT National Register or professional regulation through FEDANT.

Apply After Qualifying

Completing an accredited course does not itself make a graduate FEDANT registered. Graduates must apply separately for admission to the National Register.
