What to Have Ready
Your Insurance Evidence
If you already hold your own professional insurance, have a copy of the certificate ready.
If You Need FEDANT Insurance
If you wish to use the FEDANT Block Scheme Insurance, you only need your qualification certificate at this stage.

Tell Us About Your Qualifications
Type of Qualification, Section One: If you hold a FEDANT accredited qualification, select it from the drop-down list. If it is not listed, select “Other”.
Type of Qualification, Section Two: Enter any qualification that is not FEDANT accredited.

Select the Relevant Register Categories
Select the category or categories that most closely reflect the qualifications and areas of practice you want FEDANT to assess.
FEDANT registration will apply only to the exact category or categories approved and shown on your National Register entry.

Choose the Correct Insurance Option
FEDANT must receive appropriate insurance evidence before registration can be completed. Choose the option that applies to you:
- Option 1: You already hold your own professional insurance.
- Option 2: You wish to apply for FEDANT Block Scheme Insurance.
- Option 3: You are applying from outside the UK.

If You Hold Your Own Insurance
FEDANT will review your qualifications, selected register categories and insurance choice. The initial review may take between 48 and 72 hours. If further information is needed, the Administration Team will contact you by email.
FEDANT will check your qualification and insurance evidence. When all requirements have been met, your application can be completed.

If You Choose FEDANT Block Scheme Insurance
After your application has been reviewed, FEDANT will email you an access link to the insurance along with your unique access number. The initial review may take between 48 and 72 hours. Complete the insurer’s application and pay the insurance provider directly.
You may email the resulting FEDANT Block Scheme insurance certificate to . Alternatively, you can wait for the insurer to confirm the relevant insurance category or categories to FEDANT.

Review, Continue and Pay
Check the information you have entered. When you select Next, you will be taken to the payment page to pay the applicable annual registration fee.

When Registration Is Complete
Once FEDANT has approved the required evidence, you will receive confirmation that you have been admitted to the FEDANT National Register. Your registration letter, card and certificate will be sent by email.
Do not describe yourself as FEDANT Registered until FEDANT has confirmed your admission and your entry appears on the National Register.
