Find a Registered ProfessionalSearch by entering a postcode for the area in which you need a class or service. A postcode provides a focused local search. Entering a large county such as Sussex is less useful when parents need to identify classes or services close to them. Check a RegistrationVerify a claimed registration using the individual’s five digit National Register entry number. Use the registration number provided by the professional to confirm their current entry and review the details shown on the National Register.

Professional Categories on the National Register

The National Register includes professionals with different qualifications, routes of training and areas of practice. Categories include:

Relative Sector Practitioners provide a defined specialist service connected to pregnancy, birth, the postnatal period, infancy or early parenthood.

Registration and professional roles

FEDANT registration relates to the category and evidence shown on the National Register. It does not mean every Registrant is a statutorily regulated healthcare professional. Where someone uses a regulated professional title, check the appropriate statutory register separately.
