Who may appear on the Register?
Professional Categories on the National Register
The National Register includes professionals with different qualifications, routes of training and areas of practice. Categories include:
Relative Sector Practitioners provide a defined specialist service connected to pregnancy, birth, the postnatal period, infancy or early parenthood.
Registration and professional roles
FEDANT registration relates to the category and evidence shown on the National Register. It does not mean every Registrant is a statutorily regulated healthcare professional. Where someone uses a regulated professional title, check the appropriate statutory register separately.
