Accreditation Applies to the Exact Course
FEDANT accreditation does not automatically cover every course offered by an education provider. A provider may offer several programmes while only one exact course holds current accreditation. Always check the course title and Education Provider/Course Number against FEDANT’s published list.
A private education provider or course without current FEDANT accreditation has not been assessed and approved by FEDANT. This does not automatically mean that the course is of poor quality, because a provider may not have applied. However, accreditation may also be withheld or refused where the required standards are not met, including concerns about educational quality, the accuracy or authenticity of content, supporting evidence, learner safety or public safety.
Do not assume that an unaccredited course will provide the knowledge, competence or recognised evidence required for safe professional practice, FEDANT National Registration or suitable professional insurance.

Course Accreditation and Personal Registration Are Different
Completing a FEDANT accredited course does not itself make a graduate FEDANT registered. National Registration is personal to the individual. After qualifying, you must apply for admission, provide the required qualification and safety evidence, hold appropriate professional insurance (or choose to use the FEDANT Block Scheme Insurance) and meet the registration requirements in force at the time.
Your eventual National Register entry will show the exact category or categories for which FEDANT has granted admission.
