International Registration
Apply for professional registration from outside the UK.
This page explains the evidence required, the assessment process and the legal, regulatory, insurance and professional responsibilities of applicants who live and practise outside the UK.
Who Can Apply?
International Registration is available to suitably qualified professionals who live and practise outside the UK and are applying for admission in an area recognised by FEDANT.
Applicants must provide evidence of:
Qualification Evidence
A valid profession entry qualification relevant to the exact registration category requested. FEDANT may request course content, information about course duration or additional evidence when assessing an international qualification. Where documents are not in English, provide a clear English translation. FEDANT may request further information or an independently verified translation where necessary.
Local Legal, Insurance and Professional Requirements
International Registrants remain responsible for complying with all legal, regulatory, insurance and professional requirements that apply in the country or jurisdiction where they live and practise. Where professional insurance is required or obtained, the Registrant is responsible for ensuring that the cover is appropriate for their professional activities and valid in that jurisdiction.
Professional Commitment
An undertaking to follow the FEDANT Code of Ethics and Practice, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, work within the limits of qualifications and competence, and comply with the requirements of the country or jurisdiction where the applicant practises.
FEDANT Block Scheme Insurance
FEDANT Block Scheme Insurance may be available to eligible applicants practising in the Republic of Ireland. Applicants practising elsewhere remain responsible for arranging any professional insurance required or appropriate in their own country or jurisdiction.

Professional Validation
International registration with FEDANT provides professional validation that the applicant meets FEDANT’s recognised standards of practice, education and ethics.
Local Legal Requirements
FEDANT Registration does not replace any licence, registration or other legal authorisation required in the country or jurisdiction where the Registrant lives and practises.
Disciplinary Process
FEDANT’s disciplinary process is governed by English legal requirements.
Register Identification
International registrants are identified by OS on their FEDANT National Register entry.

Prepare Your Qualification Evidence
Have copies of each qualification, any requested course information, English translations where needed and evidence of a name change where qualification documents use a different surname.
Check Your Local Requirements
Identify the legal, regulatory, insurance and professional requirements that apply in the country or jurisdiction where you live and practise. Where professional insurance is required or obtained, check that it is appropriate for your professional activities and valid in that jurisdiction.

Make sure you understand the professional responsibilities that apply to FEDANT Registrants.
Complete Your Application
Submit accurate information and respond promptly if FEDANT requests clarification, translations or additional evidence.
What You Will Receive
National Register Listing
Once approved, your name and approved registration category or categories will appear on the publicly searchable FEDANT National Register. Your entry will be identified by OS, confirming that admission was granted through the International Registration route.
Registration Documents
Following approval, you will receive your FEDANT Registration Certificate and a formal confirmation letter. These documents confirm your registration status, approved category or categories and recognition as an International Registrant, and should be retained for your professional records.
Registrant Resources and CPD
You will gain access to the FEDANT Registrant Area, including professional resources, guidance, promotional materials and continuing professional development information.
Your Approved Scope Matters
International Registration applies only to the category or categories supported by the evidence accepted by FEDANT. Registration does not replace any licence, registration or legal authorisation required in the country or jurisdiction where you practise.

Annual Registration
£62.80
Payable to FEDANT.
Application Outcome
Confirmation of your registration status will be sent to the email address entered on your application. If it does not arrive, check your spam and junk folders before contacting FEDANT.
