Your route onto the FEDANT National Register
FEDANT National Registration provides professional registration for suitably qualified practitioners, including those working in the antenatal and postnatal sector, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) practitioners and practitioners holding eligible Relative Sector Awards.
Admission to the FEDANT National Register is open to suitably qualified professionals in the following categories:
Admission is granted only for the exact category or categories for which the applicant provides satisfactory qualification and safety evidence.
Student Admission follows a separate route. Students should read the Student Admission guidance and use the student application route rather than the professional registration starting point below.
Prepare the following information and evidence before opening the professional registration application.
Prepare evidence for every qualification you want listed on your National Register entry. A clear, good-quality photograph taken on a smartphone is acceptable.
If an award was issued in a different surname or name, provide supporting evidence of the change, such as a copy of a marriage certificate or another appropriate document.
Provide evidence of professional insurance covering the qualification and area or areas of practice for which you are applying.
Check that your name, contact details, practice information, website and requested register categories are accurate before submission.
The applicable annual registration fee is paid through the secure payment gateway during the application. A payment receipt confirms payment only; it does not confirm admission to the FEDANT National Register.

Pay the applicable annual registration fee through the secure payment gateway.
Submit the qualification, name-change and insurance evidence described above for the categories requested.

If information is missing or clarification is required, respond promptly so that the review can continue.
When the requirements are satisfied, FEDANT confirms completion and issues the applicable registration information.
Evidence of appropriate insurance is required for admission. The policy must cover the professional activity and exact category or categories for which registration is requested.
You are not required to use the FEDANT Block Scheme. If you already hold suitable insurance, provide a clear copy of the current certificate of insurance with your application.
Eligible applicants may choose to apply for FEDANT Block Scheme Insurance. Select “I am applying for FEDANT Block Scheme Insurance” on the registration application.
Your admission application will be reviewed before the insurance application link and password are emailed to you.
Follow all instructions supplied by FEDANT and the insurance provider. Do not assume that cover is active until the required registration and insurance steps have been completed and confirmation has been received.
Read Current Insurance InformationOnce the required documentation has been received and verified, you will be issued with your FEDANT registration documents and your approved details will be added to the FEDANT National Register.
You will also receive login details for the secure Registrant Area. Resources available there include the appropriate FEDANT registrant logo and professional publicity materials.
Your public entry may include the following approved information:
Check the published entry carefully. Your category or categories show what FEDANT has approved you for on the National Register. Qualifications or CPD listed elsewhere on the entry do not alter those approved categories.
Registration must be described accurately. Only use the FEDANT logo and registration wording on the page or materials connected with the exact category or categories shown on your National Register entry. Your five digit National Registration Number must accompany the registrant logo in accordance with the current guidance.
